What is the Marketplace Facilitator Law?

This law requires marketplace facilitators (such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub) to collect and remit sales tax on behalf of their third-party sellers.

If the platform through which you sell your products is classified as a marketplace facilitator in your state, that platform is responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting tax on all transactions made.
