Updated over a week ago

Introduction

Lula Analytics comprises several dashboards and reports that provide Analytics into the performance of a store or chain of stores. There are currently 5 tabs:

  • Overview - a snapshot of key performance across the company

  • Operations - a deep dive into the operational performance

  • Menu Performance - metrics on category and item sales

  • Payouts - a record of payouts and payout-related data

  • Reports - a way to build and export custom reports from the underlying data

Core functionality

Navigation

Page Tabs - Depending on your role’s permissions you will be able to navigate to some or all of the tabs at the top of the Analytics page.

Toggles - Within the pages in Analytics various toggles will allow you to navigate to various views and tables.

Filters - At the top of most of the tabs, there is a “Show Filters” button in the header that when pressed will show the set of global filters.

Global Filters

All data on a page is based on the filters set in global filters

By date & time

Date range - Select from a preset list of ranges. Or, set a start and end date.

Some example presets include:

  • Yesterday

  • This week

  • Month to date

  • Last quarter

  • Last 6 Months

  • Last complete month

Time range - The start time will adjust the filter range of the start date. Meanwhile, the end time adjusts the end date. For example, if the dates are from Jan 1 to Jan 31 and the times are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Then the filter will start at 9:00 AM on Jan 1 and end at 5:00 PM on Jan 15.

Timezone - Setting the timezone will adjust all times to the selected timezone.

Supported timezones:

  • EST

  • CST

  • MST

  • PST

  • UTC

By location

Groups - Groups can be created and associated to any stores in a chain. These groups can be used to filter Analytics. Groups can be anything from districts & zones to classifications like “Open 24/7” or “Carries alcohol”. The options are open.

City - Filter by the cities where stores are located.

State - Filter by states where stores are located.

Store - Filter by individual stores.

Local Filters

Table Filter

Table filters - In the header of most tables, there is a filter icon. Clicking on the filter icon provides a simple way to:

  • Select a column

  • Choose an operator (which is based on the column data type)

  • Enter a value to filter on

Pie chart filter

Pie chart slices - In a few places, it’s possible to click on a pie slice and filter by that slice’s category. To undo the filter, select on the filtered pie chart and select “Filter Category”.

Date group - Above the line charts it’s possible to adjust the chart between “Daily”, “Weekly”, and “Monthly”.

Data extraction

Table Download - In the header of most tables, there is a download icon. After clicking the download icon you will have the option to select the output:

  • PDF

  • CSV

  • XLSX

Reports Page - To download custom reports see the “Reports” tab in Insights.

Hero section

The hero section comprises a set of top-level key performance indicators (KPIs). Under each KPI are the associated toggles that when clicked will update the line chart and linked pie chart. The line chart displays the selected data over time, while the pie chart acts to subdivide the data across multiple categories. The pie chart can be used to further filter the data in the line chart (pie chart filtering).
