Accepting an order accurately and efficiently is crucial in the Lula Store Platform. This guide will walk you through the process, ensuring both order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Accepting orders
1. Receive and view the order
When a new order arrives, you'll be notified with an audible alert and a pop-up on your tablet. Here's what to do next:
Set time to bag
The default bagging time is set to 10 minutes. Adjust this time by +/- 5 minutes if necessary, considering your current workload and the order's complexity.
View the order
After setting the bagging time, tap 'View and Edit Order' to review and, if necessary, modify the order before preparation.
Note: If dismiss the order pop-up it will be stored in the 'Active' orders tab.

2. Preparing the order
Carefully review the order details, including items and quantities, before gathering the products from their in-store locations.
Edit an order item
If an item is out of stock or available in limited quantity, update the order by editing the item: remove it or adjust the quantity. Always communicate any changes to the customer promptly to manage expectations. Learn more
Deny an order
As a last resort, if you cannot fulfill the order in its entirety, you may deny it. Before doing so, ensure all alternatives have been considered and communicate the issue with the customer. Learn more
3. Mark the Order 'Ready for Pick Up'
Once all items are gathered:
Mark items as bagged
Check off items on your tablet as you bag them. This ensures no item is missed and keeps the order organized.
Tap 'Ready for Pick up'
The 'Ready for Pick Up' button will activate after all items are checked off. Tap it to signal that the order is complete. A driver should arrive within 10-20 minutes for retrieval.
4. Mark the order as 'Picked up by driver'
After the driver has collected the order, confirm the handoff on your tablet by marking the order as 'Picked up by driver'.
Important: Verify it is the correct order by the customer name and order number.
